Rainbow Beach Weather & Climate

You would be mistaken to think that the weather is the same along the east coast of Australia, but in Rainbow Beach is it something else. Winter brings a cooler change with temperature usually falling to around the mid 20’s bringing perfect temps for the more active adventurist. Summer is great for those water sports such as reef fishing on fringing coral gardens or even swimming with the beautiful dolphins at nearby Tin Can Bay. Surfing conditions here are excellent with some fantastic surf breaks to be experience both on the local beaches of Rainbow Beach as well as up at Double Island point which is only accessible by 4WD. People from all around come to surf the waves at both destinations and prove to some excellent surfing!
